Surrounded by mature olive trees that ensure complete seclusion the residence offers serene privacy.
The property is situated on a hill overlooking to the south the South Cretan Sea and, to the north, the majestic Mount Psiloritis, covered in snow in the winter.
With space for up to 12 guests and a generous 50 m² pool, it harmoniously balances tranquility, comfort, and authentic Cretan charm.
The story
Designed and built by an artist, of whom several artworks are exhibited in the MoMa in New York, the villa retains many original works, mosaics and sculpures, creating an inspiring and characterful atmosphere both indoors and out.
This is not just a place to stay,
but a place to experience.
The area
A short 10-minute walk brings you to the village of Agia Galini, where you’ll find a variety of restaurants, supermarkets, cafés, and beach bars.
Property layout
Whether you’re visiting as a family or with a group of friends, the villa’s layout is convenient: two separate floors, each with its own kitchen and bathroom, allow for both shared moments and privacy.
Every room includes air conditioning and offers flexible sleeping arrangements (double beds, bunk beds, and single beds). The spacious outdoor area is ideal for swimming, yoga & meditation, outdoor games, or simply relaxing with a cocktail by the pool.
For nature lovers, the coastal trails surrounding the property offer breathtaking hikes.
Staying in the villa has been one of the best Airbnb experiences we have ever had. The hosts have been available at all times and have made sure that we were comfortable. It is a privilege to be able to stay in this house that exudes happy experiences and is cared for down to the last detail. We have really appreciated (also as architects) the corners, the beauty and comfort of the house.

Homemade products
On our property, 156 olive trees produce exceptionally flavorful, high-quality olive oil.
As a welcome gift we offer a small bottle of our oil in the welcome package.
You can additionally purchase additional oil in:
250 ml – € 7.50
500 ml – € 12.50
It is possible to order olive oil and soap bars, also if you are not staying with us.
We live in The Hague, the Netherlands. You’re welcome to pick up orders if you are in the area or request shipping (Europe only).
Our daughter Louiza (12) makes beautiful handmade soaps using our own olive oil. These come in various shapes and sizes and can be ordered as well. Costs are between 1 and 4 euro.
About us
We are Omiros, Emma, proud hosts and parents of three kids, age 6, 9 and 12.
Omiros grew up in Agia Galini, the kids love the village, we feel deeply connected to this warm and welcoming pearl of the south Cretan coast.
